GUIDELINE FOR COMPULSORY COMPUTER TRAINING

The Computer training has been compulsory for the Intermediate and Final students. Given below are the different status and the corresponding action one must take. The applicability would be same for Inter or Final.

1. Not passed any of the stages of the examination. Appearing for both the stages in DECEMBER, 2004.

MUST COMPLETE COMPUTER TRAINING BEFORE THE EXAMINATION.

2. Not passed any of the stages of the examination. Appearing for only one stage of the examination in DECEMBER, 2004.

NEED TO UNDERGO COMPUTER TRAINING. HOWEVER, SUCH TRAINING NEED NOT BE COMPLETED BEFORE JUNE 2002 EXAM AND RESULT WILL NOT BE WITHHELD FOR NOT HAVING COMPUTER TRAINING CLEARANCE.

3. Already passed any one stage of the examination and is going to appear for the other stage in DECEMBER, 2004.

MUST COMPLETE COMPUTER TRAINING BEFORE THE EXAMINATION.

In other words, a candidate must complete the computer training prior to the examination term if after appearance the candidate is liable to be declared as complete pass in the examination (i.e., Inter or Final).

The above computer training need not be taken by a candidate who has obtained coaching clearance prior to 01.01.2001 in both the stages of the examination, irrespective of whether the candidate has cleared any one stage or not.

Re-Validation Cases

Students having Revalidation of coaching certificates earlier issued, need not undergo compulsory computer training.

Dates by which one should complete computer training

The completion of computer training would be a prerequisite for issuance of CC for DECEMBER,2004 term of examination and hence the time schedule would be in conformity with the time schedule for issuance of CC for DECEMBER,2004 term of examination

Students who might be considered for granting exemption

Intermediate:

a) Students having "O" level certificate of DOEACC would be exempted from undergoing this type of training in the Intermediate level.

b) Additionally, students holding certificates of BCA, MCA, PGDCA, BMS awarded by any organisation, recognized by any Indian University or by AICTE for this purpose or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent, awarded by RCCs and/or CMC will be exempted for undergoing the Computer Training Course.

Final:

a) Students having "A" level certificate of DOEACC would be exempted from appearing in computer training in the Final level.

b) Additionally, students having Post-graduate Degree/Diploma awarded by any organisation, recognised by any Indian University or AICTE for this purpose will be exempted for undergoing the Computer Training Course.

Exemption :
Students having requisite qualification and desirous of availing of the facility of exemption as mentioned above may apply to Director (Studies), ICWAI, Kolkata with relevant documents alongwith a remittance of Rs 200 by way of demand draft in favour of ICWAI payable at Kolkata.
