Consequent upon introduction of Revised Syllabus with effect from 1st July 2002, the following guidelines will be followed regarding Exemption to the candidates registered as students on or after 1st July 2002 until further orders:
Qualifications Prescribed for granting Exemption Paper(s) of ICWAI Course
MBAs(recognized by University/AICTE) having specialisation in Systems, Graduation/post Graduation in Computer Science,Computer/Information Technology, MCAs and persons passed DOEACC “B” level examination of any institution recognized by the Institute Paper No.6 Information System & Technology
MBAs(recognized by University/AICTE), Company Secretaries (ACS/FCS) and persons having LLB qualification with 50% marks Paper No. 7 Business Laws and Communication Skill
Company Secretaries Paper No.8 Business Taxation
Company Secretaries Paper No.10 Advanced Financial Accounting
Company Secretaries Paper No. 14 Advanced Financial Management and International Finance
Company Secretaries Paper No.16 Strategic Tax Management
MBAs  (recognised by University/AICTE) Paper No.13 Operation and Project Management & Control
MBAs with specialisation in Finance (recognised by University/AICTE) Paper No.14 Advanced Financial Management & International Finance
MBAs having specialization in Marketing (recognised by University/AICTE) Paper No.15 Strategic Management and Marketing
Students having the requisite qualification and desirous of availing of exemption are required to apply to Director (Studies), ICWAI with copies of relevant certificate(s) along with a remittent of Rs.100/- per paper by way of demand draft in favour of ICWAI payable at Kolkatta.
